چکیده
There is a possibility of increasing structural damage in the sequential earthquake compared to main according past earthquakes. This study investigates effects seismic sequence on behavior and increased response reinforced concrete frames (RCF) with/without steel plate shear walls (SPSW). Four systems 4, 8, 12, 24 story, which represent low-, mid-, high-rise structures, are designed subjected nonlinear time history analysis under critical single consecutive records with real, repetitive, randomized methods. The scenarios used include recorded showed that predominant period after-shock significantly influences post main-shock response. In RCF without SPSW, real increases ratio peak maximum interstory drift by an average 2, 2 times similar demand shock, ductility 1.52 1.65 structure, respectively. artificial sequence, increase 100%, 150%, 200% after-shocks, iteration method, it equal 1.2, 2.0, 2.6 shock SPSW 1.9, 3.2, 4.8 SPSW. After-shocks may change direction magnitude residual displacement sequences. Continuation equation calculate for was extracted.

Seismic Performance of Steel Plate-Reinforced Concrete Composite Shear Wall
In tall buildings the reinforced concrete (RC) shear wall is one of the predominant structural components used to resist lateral loads induced by earthquakes around the world. Previous research demonstrated that shear walls displayed a sudden loss in lateral capacity due to the wall corner and web crushing in the plastic zone. In addition, it was found that large shear distortions in shear wall...
متن کاملComparison of plasticity and stiffness of steel shear walls with composite steel plate shear wall
The steel shear wall and composite steel plate shear wall is introduced in recent three decade and is considered and is spread rapidly. Composite steel plate shear wall which is made of a layer of thin steel sheet with coating of reinforced concrete in one or both sides of steel palate is considered a third generation of resistance shear walls against lateral loads that in addition to increasin...
متن کاملAnalytical assessment of reinforced concrete frames equipped with TADAS dampers
In recent years, it is considerably attempted to develop the concept of energy dissipation as an applicable technology to overcome the energy released by earthquakes. The passive control systems such as metallic dampers have been widely considered. The dampers are basically used to mitigate the structural responses and reduce the damages in main structural elements by energy dissipation. ...
متن کاملSeismic Behavior of Steel Reinforced Concrete Beam-Columns and Frames
The ability to perform accurate nonlinear simulations is a key component in the assessment of the behavior of seismic force resisting systems. A three-dimensional distributed plasticity formulation for composite beam-columns suitable for nonlinear static and dynamic analyses of composite seismic force resisting systems has been developed. New uniaxial constitutive relations are developed for th...
متن کاملHysteretic Behavior of Conventionally Reinforced Concrete Coupling Beams in Reinforced Concrete Coupled Shear Wall
This paper presents the experimental results of four full-scale coupling beams in which only horizontal reinforcements are placed, without diagonal reinforcements, with the aim to develop reinforcement details for coupling beams used in connecting side walls in a wall-slab structural system. Each coupling beam specimen was designed according to the deep-beam design procedure that does not use d...
